Positive: The apartment is really spacious and very beautiful. It has a large living room, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bathroom with a washing machine, and a bedroom. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom, but it’s perfectly adjusted so there’s no risk of catching a cold. However, it comes at an additional daily cost, which wasn’t clearly stated at the time of booking. Apart from that, I was completely satisfied with the apartment — it was very clean, and the host was exceptionally friendly. The location is also great, about a 10-minute walk to the main beach. I can definitely recommend this apartment and would gladly book it again.

Positive: The host was very welcoming and helpful, communication was very good. The location is very close to 2 nice supermarkets and a very short walk to the main pedestrian way and the beach. There are very, very good restaurants in the area. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable and wasn't too hot/cold. The shower is a good size and hot water was not a problem. The washing machine was nice to have to get the salt out of everything after being in the sea. Overall, a lovely apartment and we enjoyed our stay.

Negative: The area is not particularly aesthetic at the moment as it is still being developed. The kitchen was quite basic and an oven or a microwave with a grill setting would have been helpful.

Positive: For us the location was ideal as it was away from the main "tourist" area and meant that we were close to local facilities such as the market, supermarkets & local places to eat which is what we always prefer over the more expensive tourist restaurants in the the main tourist area or by the beach. If we wanted to eat in any of these places then they were all within easy walking distance. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance & the beach was only a 10 minute walk away.

Negative: The property and hosts were everything we wanted but unfortunately there is a lot of building work taking place in Santa Maria and the property next to Ca GioGio was one of these being worked. This meant a lot of noise on some mornings. However this must be near to completion & was something totally beyond the control of the hosts and did not really detract from the overall experience which was great.

Summary: Property had everything we needed and for us was an ideal location. Fab holiday and we will be back.
